HMD held safety education programs for the subcontractors’ foreign workers on September 21 to 23.

The education program was organized on three separate occasions to explain the safety rules that are to be followed in workplaces to 300 workers from the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and China.

The lecturer, a representative from Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency, explained examples of frequently occurred accidents in the shipbuilding industries and measures to prevent it.

HMD continues to put its efforts into preventing accidents or injuries in its workplaces and ensures to make HMD a safe environment to work in.
