Bahri Jeddah, Cielo Di Gaeta, and High Freedom Delivered & NS Elida Named

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) delivered 26,000 DWT Con-Ro carrier Bahri Jeddah ordered by National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (NSCSA) on January 9. The vessel measures 225 m long, 32 m wide, and 27 m deep. It departed for Singapore to load the shipment. The Cielo Di Gaeta 40,000 DWT product carrier and High Freedom 50,000 DWT product carrier ordered by d’Amico were also delivered on January 9.

HMD held a naming ceremony for NS Elida, a 4,700 DWT platform supply vessel ordered by BP Shipping on January 14. Mr. John Ridgway, CEO of BP Shipping, Mr. Choi Won-gil, president & CEO of HMD, and other guests attended the naming ceremony. The ship is the first of four ships ordered BP Shipping measuring 96 m long, 20 m wide, and 8 m deep.
