HMD held a naming ceremony for Burgan, a 46,500 DWT product carrier ordered by KOTC on December 4.

The ship measuring 186.0 m in length, 32.2 m in width, and 18.5m in depth is first of four ships and is scheduled to be delivered in January 2014. The ship is designed to save fuel with highly efficient engine.

HMD held a simultaneous naming ceremony for duo 30,000 DWT asphalt carriers Palanca Montevideo and Palanca muscat for Wisby on November 20. The ships are measuring 183.0 m LOA, 27.4 m beam and 16.4 m in depth.
