HMD has signed a newbuilding contract with Interorient Navigation of Cyprus for three 37,000dwt product/chemical tankers on Feb. 24, 2003.

The vessels will have a length of 182.5m, a width of 27.34m, and a depth of 16.7 with a service speed of 14.5 knots. Delivery of the first ship is set for the last quarter of 2004, with the subsequent ships following in the third and last quarter of 2005.
