A christening ceremony was held on Feb.17, 2003 at quay No.1 for a 37,000dwt product/chemical tanker (H0106) ordered by Geden Lines of Turkey in Jan. 2001.

President Yu Kwan-Hong of HMD, Mr. Bob Malone, CEO of BP Shipping Limited, the charterer of the ship, and participants from its owner, Laliotis Maritime, and other guests were in attendance. This ship was christened BRITISH ESTEEM and delivered to its owner, Laliotis Maritime of Greece. She measures 183m in length, 37m in width, and 17m in depth. The ship is installed with a 12,000-bhp engine and has a service speed of 15 knots.

Laliotis Maritime, established in 1970, is one of the prominent shipping companies in Greece having a handymax and panamax tanker fleet.
