A naming ceremony was held for andromeda Shipping’s there product/chemical tankers (H0118, 0119, 0120) on April 14, 2003. Andromeda Shipping is based in Monaco and has seven vessels. In addition to three PCs, three more vessels are under construction at HMD.

The ceremony was held amid excitement of people blessing the vessels for their safe voyage. Since the name Andromeda itself is a constellation, the company gave their ships logos and names of stars. The vessels were named Pink Star, Purple Star and Coral Star. The vessels are 175m long, 27.34m with 12,000 Bhp engine and have a service speed of 14.5 Knots.
