A christening ceremony was held on May 16 for a 37,000dwt product/chemical tanker(H0121) ordered January 2001 by Geden Lines of Turkey.

President Mr. Yu of HMD, Class surveyors, and participants from its owner, and other guests were in attendance.

This ship was christened “PROSTAR” and delivered to its owner on May 17.

This vessel, the 7th ship of ten identical product/chemical tankers ordered by Geden Lines of Turkey, was designed to have a length of 182.5m, a width of 27.3m and a depth of 16.7m with a service speed of 14.5 knots.
