HMD held a delivery ceremony for the first container ship(H0034) on July 19, 2002, in the presence of the owner’s representatives, class surveyors, and HMD staff.

It was named “Norasia Engiadina” and was the first unit of eight 2,824TEU container ships awarded by Suisse-Atlantique, Switzerland.

Norasia Engiadina having length overall of 210m, a breadth of 30m, and a depth of 16.8m sailed out from HMD to Singapore on March 6.
