HMD held a naming ceremony on Feb. 6, 2004 for a 46,000dwt product carrier (H0134) which is the last of two product carriers ordered by SK Shipping of Korea in the presence of Mr. K. H. Yu, president & CEO of HMD, Mr. J. H. Lee, CEO of SK Shipping, and other representatives.

She was named Pro Giant by Mrs. Hiroko Ohmori, the wife of a financial sponsor, and measures 183m in length, 32m in width, and 18m in depth with a service speed of 14.6knots.

Meanwhile, HMD held another naming ceremony for a 46,000dwt product carrier (H0201) named Rudy which is the first of 4 product carriers ordered by Novoship of Russia. Novoship is one of the largest shipping companies of Russia with 79vessels mainly consisting of tankers.

Two 46,000dwt product carriers(H0203/H0217) were launched on Feb.12 at No.4 Dock. They were ordered by Novoship of Russia and BP Shipping of U.K. respectively.

BP Shipping's H0218 and Athenian Sea Carriers' H0234 were keel-layed on Feb.13 at No.4 Dock and are scheduled for delivery in June, 2004.
