HMD initiated the Business Ethics Management Campaign to promote clean company culture. As a part of the campaign, HMD will enforce various business ethics and strengthen the existing code of moral conduct through which it will establish transparent business transaction with subcontracted companies.

COE K. S. Choi of HMD wrote a letter to all HMD employees and 1,000 subcontracted companies strongly requesting that no gifts be given or taken between the two parties. If caught violating business ethics, violators will be severely punished with such actions as cancellation of contract, salary cut or discharge from position.
