47,000dwt PC for BP Shipping

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., Ltd. (HMD) held a naming ceremony for a 47,000-dwt product/chemical carrier (Hull No. 0331) at the No.5 quay on Nov. 10 ordered by British Petroleum Shipping.

Foreign and domestic guests including Mr. Eiji Wakiwaka, president of BP Shipping Japan Corporation and Mr. C. K. Kim, executive senior vice president of HMD, celebrated the christening.

Mrs. Hisako Wakiwaka, the president's wife of BP Shipping Japan Corporation, named the vessel, British Integrity.

The vessel is the seventh among 12 vessels from BP Shipping. She measures 183m long, 32.2m wide and 18.8m high with a service speed of 15knots. She has taken off on a virgin voyage for China to load her first cargo.
