HMD inked the shipbuilding contracts for two 37,000DWT Product Carriers with The Great Eastern Shipping Co., Ltd., from India at the main building of HMD in Ulsan.

The dimension of the vessels is 183m in length, 27m in breadth and 17m in height and the vessels are scheduled to be delivered from the first half of 2007.

Especially, the ordered vessels have the same specifications as those already under the construction in HMD for other clients, which shall give more productivity in building the vessels.

HMD successfully entered the big market of India for the first time and diversified the new building market.
