Busy in installing additional cranes

HMD is strengthening the ground at the west side of no.1 dock to install the railroad for 200ton jib-cranes.

The construction has started last October after HMD decided to get two more 200ton jib-cranes for new-building purpose.

According to the construction schedule, the pipe installation supporting the ground of 483meter length at the west side of no. 1 dock already finished, and the installation of H-beam, concrete structure and railway will be followed by March, next year.

Once the new cranes are installed, HMD will be ready for a system to build 60 vessels per year with ten 200ton jib-cranes around four dry docks.
