HMD signed a contract for the construction of five(5) 13,000-dwt product/chemical carriers with Eships Tankers Ltd.(Eships) on April 17, 2005.

Those ships measures 127.0m in length, 20.4m in width and 11.7m in depth.

Now, HMD has made new contracts for a total of 51 vessels as of the end of April this year.

This contract will contribute much to the improvement of productivity since the oddment space of the dock will be allocated to these five ships, which can maximize the efficiency of the dock.

Eships founded in 1996 is the worldwide leading ship investment company operating 12 vessels currently and this order is the first deal with HMD.
