HMD received an order for four 46,000DWT Product/Chemical Tankers from the Gulf Navigation Group in Dubai.

Mr. Choi Kil-seon, president of HMD, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Shuraim, Chairman of Gulf Navigation Group, signed a shipbuilding contract for four (4) units of 46,000 DWT Product and Chemical Tanker on June 15, 2005.

The tankers, categorized in IMO-Ⅱ type with a service speed of 14.7 knots and dimensions of 183m in length, 32.2m in width and 18.8m in depth, are supposed to be long-term chartered to a Saudi company upon delivery from 2008 to 2009.

Dubai-based multi-national joint venture, Gulf Navigation Group established in 2001, revealed its further plan to place more orders with HMD in the near future.
