Naming for Product/Chemical Tanker

BP's ninth vessel was delivered to its owner 40 days in advance of the contractual delivery date. The naming ceremony for H0333, the product/chemical tanker ordered by the British company, BP, was held at No. 5 quay on May 18, 2005

The vessel was named British Harmony by Mrs. Sandra, BP vice-president's wife under the attendance of HMD's president, Mr. K. S. Choi, and BP shipping's president, and many other guests. British Harmony which is the ninth vessel out of twelve 46,000-dwt class product/chemical tankers ordered by BP sailed out after the ceremony. British Harmony can sail at a speed of 15 knots. It measures 183m in length, 32.2m in breadth and 18.8m in depth.

Meanwhile, HMD continues to deliver ships to its customers earlier than contractual delivery dates, including BP Projects.
