Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard in Vietnam, a joint venture company of HMD, successfully completed its first repair job on a LNG carrier on June 21, 2005.
The first LNG carrier dry-docked at HVS was "Hyundai Oceanpia", a five-year-old moss type LNG carrier managed by Hyundai Merchant Marine, with a length of 288.73 m, width of 48.2m and depth of 25.5m.
The repair work started early June this year, and the vessel was redelivered safely on June 21,2005.
Thanks to the success of the repair work, HVS is expected to strengthen its reputation in the repair market.
