Mr. Song Jae-byoung, the former COO of HHI's Offshore & Engineering Division, was appointed the 9th president & CEO of HMD on December 1 and an inaugural ceremony was held in December 7. "Together with my colleagues, I will dedicate myself to turning our dream, which is to be the world's best shipyard, into a reality," said the newly appointed president. President Song also stressed five points during his inauguration: devote to the Hyundai Spirit, increase core competitiveness, prepare for the future, create open management with a foundation on cooperation and mutual benefits, and strive for a safe working environment.
