Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard, HMD's joint-venture in Vietnam, will carry out the conversion works onto EUKOR-owned M/V Asian Empire and M/V Asian Majesty. They will be extended by 28.8m to achieve extra capacity of about 1,300 units to the existing 6,000 units.
The conversion work for each ship will start in May and July of 2006 respectively, each taking about 45 days to complete.
