Starting with steel-cutting of Hull No.2003, five 13,000-dwt class product carriers have gone under construction.

These vessels, ordered from a Bermuda-regustered company, Eships Tankers Ltd., will have a dimension of 127m long, 20.4m wide and 11.7m deep.

Since the vessels have shorter length and narrow breadth, HMD is able to optimize the dock utilization.

Through this order, HMD is expected to secure larger share in global product carrier market.
