HMD held a naming ceremony for Hull No.0356 ordered by National Chemical Carriers (NCC), a Saudi Arabian company, at No.5 quay on March 27.

The vessel was named NCC Tihama after a region in Saudi Arabia.

NCC Tihama measures 183m in length, 32.2m in width and 18.8 in depth.

This ship is the third out of ten 46,000-dwt class product carriers ordered in 2003 by the owner.
