HMD launched four 2,824TEU containerships on July 12 and 18. Two ships, Hull Nos. 0362 and 0390, were launched on July 12 at No.4 dock. The first ship, Hull No. 0362 is the fifth among six containerships ordered by Christian F.Ahrenkiel GmbH & Co. of Germany, while Hull No. 0390 is the third among four from Suisse Atlantique of Switzerland. On July 18, Hull Nos. 0363 and 0440 were launched at No.2 dock. Hull No. 0363 is the last of six containerships ordered by Christian F.Ahrenkiel GmbH & Co. and Hull 0440 is the fourth among five 37,000-dwt product carriers from Interorient Navigation of Cyprus.
