On the evening of August 10, HMD held an event in favor of ship owners and classification societies who work in shipbuilding at HMD at the Gwanseong summertime resort area.

On that day, the seashore gathering was prosperous with 300 participants, all of whom were inspectors and their families from 17 companies including The Ahrenkiel Group of Germany, Tsakos Energy Navigation Ltd. of Greece and representatives of 5 classification societies including Lloyd, DNV, etc. That event progressed delightfully with a buffet supper followed by diverse activities such as performance of a band, sideshows and group volleyball games.

HMD holds the seashore meeting for ship owners every year and it is proved that annual gathering contributes to improvement of the HMD’s cooperation with ship owners.
