HMD held the naming ceremony of two containerships ordered by Offen of Germany at No. 5 and 3 docks.

Mrs. Yang Young-soon, the wife of Kim dong-hwan in Accommodation & Hull Outfitting Production Dep’t, was invited as a sponsor of Hull No. 0432. Mrs. Yang is the first among the wives of HMD employees to become a sponsor by the request of shipowner. She said “I was honored with an invitation to the ceremony and it would be a never-to-be forgotten day.”

Hull Nos. 0431 and 0432 are the first and second vessels among eight 2,824TEU containerships ordered by Offen in Germany.

Hull No. 0432 was named Santa Balbina and 0432 was named Santa Belina. Santa Balbina Was also delivered on that day after the ceremony.
