In the afternoon of Oct. 14, Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard Co., Ltd. (HVS), the local subsidiary of HMD, organized a festival for its 10 year anniversary. This is an annual traditional activity which has deep meaning to HVS employees.

HVS celebrated the event with 5,000 employees. The event progressed with an entrance of officers and marching performance of all departments, followed by sports activities such as soccer, volleyball, tug of war and hurdle races. Teams received prizes and there were special drawing lots with 3 motorcycles. HVS promoted friendship among the members through this event.

HVS, which was established in 1996, is growing rapidly as the global repair shipyard following HMD with the success of large conversion projects.
