Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) signed a contract with Eletson Holdings Inc. of Greece for four 35,000㎥ LPG Carriers on September 18.

These ships will measure 173.7m in length, 28m in width and 17.8m in depth. The ships will have fully refrigerated tanks.

They are scheduled to be delivered in 2009 from April to December.

As the global demand for LPG carriers is increasing due to high oil prices, HMD is working on establishing its medium-size LPG carrier as one of the next generation ships in the global market.
