HMD held naming ceremony for Hull No. 0448, a 2,824TEU containership, ordered by Hartmann Schiffahrts GMBH & CO. KG in Germany on November 17 at No. 5 Quay.

The ceremony was headed by Song Jea-byoung, CEO of HMD, who congratulated the birth of Hull No. 0448 and wished it a safe voyage.

The ship was named Frisia Göteborg and is the first among three containerships ordered by the shipowner. After the ceremony, it sailed for Shanghai for its first voyage.
