HMD held a naming ceremony for a 37,000-dwt product carrier ordered by Great Eastern Shipping Co., Ltd.(GESCO) of India, with attendance of people from HMD and shipowner on March 19.

The ship measures 183m in length, 27.34m in width and 16.7m in depth, named Jag Payal by Mrs. Asha Sheth, wife df the founder of GESCO.

The ship, the last of two product carriers ordered by GESCO, was delivered right after the ceremony and set sail on its maiden voyage on March 20.
