HMD set a new jib crane between No.3 and No.4 docks. Manufactured by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, the new crane weighs 1,900 ton with a height of 70 meters (height of boom:66m). The new crane completed successful test operation during the production and will be put into operation right after weight test from the mid of March.

With this new equipment, HMD expects that productivity will be increased by efficiently facilitating works of loading, unloading and pre-erection of blocks. Currently, HMD is operating twelve 200 ton jib cranes, of which six cranes are installed at No. 1 and No. 2 docks and others at No. 3 and No. 4 docks.
