On May 5th HMD held a naming ceremony for Hull No. 0412, a 47,000-dwt product carrier. Hull No. 0412 is the fourth of seven 47,000-dwt product carriers ordered by Barclay Shipping Ltd. of Greece. It was named Atrotos, which means “the strongest vessel” in ancient Greek.

On May 7th a naming ceremony was held for a 2,824 TEU containership ordered by Reederei Claus-Peter Offen. Sofia Schulte, the containership is the fifth of eight 2,824 TEU containerships ordered. At the ceremony Mr. Alexander Schulte, the owner of Thomas Schulte, which bought the vessel from its primary owner, offered congratulations on the successful delivery.
