HMD delivered a 2824 TEU containership, Hull No. 0409, on April 30th. It is the 13th of 18 2,824 TEU containerships ordered by company E.R. Schiffahrt Gmbh & CIE.KG of Germany.

The vessel was sold to Horizon Line in the US and both parties participated in the naming ceremony. The containership was named Horizon Falcon by its new owner on April 10th. The ship was delivered on May 1st, after which it departed for Hong Kong to load its first shipment of palm oil.

The 2,800 TEU class containership measures 222.2m in length, 30m in width and 16.8m in depth and has a service speed of 23 knots.
