10 HMD employees have received plaques of appreciation from Tsakos in recognition of their service in building high-quality ships.

On April 24th ten HMD workers were awarded plaques signifying the appreciation of Tsakos founder Panagiotis N. Tsakos. A naming ceremony for Hulls No. 0348 and 0406 was attended by the ten workers, including Kwon Han-ki, general manager of the PM (Project Management) team, which has taken charge of 15 ships ordered by Tsakos since October 2003.

The 10 honored workers exceeded their customers’ expectations through the high-quality tankers and containerships they helped to build. At the naming ceremony the chairman of Tsakos expressed the company’s gratitude to the CEO of HMD along with Tsakos’ satisfaction in the quality of the ships. Tsakos has ordered 10 product carriers and 6 containerships from HMD, all of which have been delivered.
