On August 9th an opening ceremony for Montanari Navigazione’s new Offices was held at HMD. Many people attended the celebration including representatives of Montanari Navigazione of Italy, of HMD, and of classification societies. Mr. Silvano Raimondi from Montanari is expected to be the chief supervisor. The new office will be used by the company until November 2008.

In 2006 HMD received orders for four 37,000-dwt product carriers from Montanari Navigazione. A steel cutting ceremony was held for Hull No. 2041, the first ship in the series of four 37,000-dwt product carriers, on June 27th.
