HMD held a naming ceremony for the Product Carrier ordered by Cido Shipping of Japan at the No. 5 quay on August 20th.

Miss. Goo Hae-lim, daughter of Goo Ja-gab, the general manager of the Test & Operation Dept., was the special sponsor of Hull No. 0452. Miss. Goo, in her first year at Dae-Song high school, said, “I was honored by the invitation to an event for the naming of such a huge vessel. It’s a day I’ll never forget.” Conventionally women from ship owners are the sponsors in naming ceremonies, but Cido Shipping asked Ms. Goo to the ceremony in order to thank HMD
