On October 10th, HMD held a delivery ceremony for a 2824 TEU Class Containership, Hull No. 0458, in Conference Room A.

In September 2004, Reederei Claus-Peter Offen GmbH & CO., of Germany, ordered eight 2824 TEU Sub-Panamax containerships. Hull No. 0458 was the sixth ship delivered. There are eight 2800 TEU Class Containerships in HMD’s backlog as of October, 2007.

The containership was named as Santa Bettina by the ship owner. Many representatives from builder and the owner participated in the ceremony celebrating another successful delivery.
