Mr. Song Jae-byoung, CEO of HMD, participated in the 16th JECKU Conference. The 3- day conference began October 24 in San Diego, USA. JECKU is an annual meeting of top executives from major global shipbuilders. The name JECKU comes from the countries, and continent, most heavily involved in shipbuilding: Japan, Europe, China, Korea and the Unites States. The next conference will be held in Japan, as host duties follow the order of the acronym JECKU. At this year’s conference the global shipbuilding directors discussed a diverse array of subjects including the global economic outlook, shipping market forecasts, and the level of demand and supply for each ship type.
