HMD delivered a 4300 TEU Containership, ordered by Norddeutsche Vermogen Holding of Germany, Named Cap Gabriel, it is the first of five containerships for the owner.

The 4300 TEU container vessel measures 264m in length, 32.3m in width, and 19.5m in depth. The vessel is equipped with the Hyundai B&W 8K90MC-C with 36,000 BHP as its main engine, which offers a service speed of 21.2 knots. This vessel’s container carrying capacity is 2700 TEU on deck, 1500 TEU in its hold, and a reefer container capacity of approximately 400 TEU. HMD has approximately 30 containerships on its backlog.
