HMD held a naming ceremony for Hull No. 0456 on January 11. The vessel is a 47,000-dwt Product Carrier ordered in 2004, the seventh of over thirty 47,000-dwt Product Carriers ordered by Cido Shipping of Japan. The Product Carrier was named ‘Atlantic Gemini’, and many guests from both HMD and Cido Shipping attended the ceremony to celebrate the construction of the vessel and wish it a safe and secure voyage.

The special sponsor was a high school student from Ulsan, by the ship owner’s request. The 47,000-dwt PC, one of HMD’s main products, measures 183.0m in length, 32.2m in width, 18.8m in depth.
