On March 14, HMD held a general meeting of shareholders in an auditorium at its yard. Approximately 300 people, including shareholders the board of directors and members of the labor union, participated in the meeting. Legislation recognizing the 34^th financial statement, election of inside/outside directors, and other company issues was passed without amendment. Mr. Song Jae-byoung, president & CEO of HMD, stated at the meeting “Owing to the unfavorable business environments some hardships are expected in 2008. Company executives and staff must overcome these difficult situations while preparing for the future.”
