HMD held a naming ceremony for Hull No. 2025 on April 1. Hull No. 2025 is a 47,000-dwt Product/Chemical Tanker ordered in 2004, and has already sailed for Malaysia to make its first shipment. The vessel is the eleventh of more than thirty 47,000-dwt Product/Chemical Tankers ordered by Cido Shipping of Japan.

The Product/Chemical Tanker was named Alpine Mathilde, and many guests from HMD and Cido Shipping were at the naming ceremony to celebrate the construction of the vessel and wish it a safe voyage. The special sponsor, Ms. Kim Eun-Hee, was a high school student in Ulsan, Korea, as per the shipowner’s request.
