HMD held a naming ceremony for a Product Carrier ordered by Cido Shipping of Japan at the No. 5 quay on June 5^th.

A high school student from Ulsan was the special sponsor of Hull No. 2009 at the request of the shipowner. Cido Shipping has invited ten female Korean students to be sponsors thus far.

Generally wives of shipowners are asked to be sponsors at naming ceremonies, but Cido Shipping has asked Korean schoolgirls to be special sponsors in order to thank HMD for its outstanding work, and has also awarded scholarships to the special sponsors.
