Mr. Y. H. Cho, General Manager of the Machinery Outfitting Design Dept., gave a presentation of the key plan for the engine room of a 10,800-dwt class Ro-Ro vessel ordered from Italian ship owner GRIMALDI on January 13^th, 2009.

The Ro-Ro vessel is specially designed to directly load on and off trucks and trailers in order to save time and money.

HMD has won orders for ten Ro-Ro vessels from GRIMALDI since March 2007 and the steel cutting ceremony for the first vessel, Hull No.8046, will be held in May.
