Greek shipowner Polyar Shipping Co., Ltd. opened an office at HMD on November 24^th. Representatives from Polyar Shipping, HMD, and classification societies attended the opening ceremony for the site office.

Mr. Seung-ho Lee was appointed chief supervisor of the site office, which will be open until February of 2010.

HMD received orders for two 52,000-dwt Product/Chemical Tankers from Polyar in 2006. A steel-cutting ceremony will be held for the first of the two ships in December.
