Hyundai Mipo Dockyard’s HVS Builds First Vessel

Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard [HVS] in Vietnam has successfully completed its first vessel. HVS held the naming ceremony for the 56,000DWT bulk carrier built for E.R.SCHIFFAHRT on July 7. Mr. Song Jae-byoung, President of HMD and about 200 guests attended the ceremony. The ship was named E.R.BERGAMO by the owner. Measuring 187.8m in length, 32.3m in width and 18.3m in depth, the ship was delivered on August 31.

Even though it is the first ship built at HVS, the vessel was highly applauded for its good quality with the benefit of HMD’s technical support and HVS’s plentiful experience acquired from 10 years of repair and conversion work.
