HMD won the 29th Grand Prix award for the best management-labor practices from Korea Employees Federation in February this year.

Despite persistent industry slowdown, management and labor union of HMD struck a collective bargaining deal last September recording 20 years of no labor disputes and making it as the most exemplary company in the shipbuilding industry in Korea.

In particular, labor union leader participated in a contract signing ceremony November last year to show labor union’s commitment to building the quality ships on time.
