Steel Cutting Ceremony for Post-Panamax Car Carr.
HMD held a steel cutting ceremony for the first of four a 22,000 DWT Post-Panamax car carriers ordered by Ray Shipping on November 4.
The ship will measure 199.9 m long, 35.4 m wide, and 36.2 m deep.
It can be loaded with 7,100 cars on 13 floor decks. The ship is fitted with a G type MAN Diesel & Turbo engine, the most fuel-efficient and eco-friendly engine on the market.
The ship will be delivered in October 2014.
