HMD transformed the HHI old panel factory to a block production factory as an effort to improve productivity within HHI Group.

The new block production factory will produce part of the 110,000 ton of blocks originally produced at No. 2 hull process factory. By doing so, it gives the No. 2 hull process factory extra capacity to produce a further 15,000 ton of blocks f rom the company’s external factories.

Also, HMD can save 7 billion Korean won in transportation fee.
