In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the yard, HMD held a festival and athletics meeting on October 8, 2000, attended by our customers, colleagues , superintendents and their families. At the opening ceremony, president J.I.Lee announced a medium-term business development plan, entitled 'V-2005'. In his opening address he also said that HMD success today could be attributed to its customers' patronage and our colleague's efforts.

Despite some rain during the festival it was a great success. Children and families, in particular, hugely enjoyed the games.
