On November 10, 2000, HMD signed a contract with Admanthos Shipping Agency, Inc. in Connecticut, USA to construct two (2) 46,000 DWT product/chemical tankers. The vessels are about 183 meter long, 32.2 meter wide and have a depth of 12.2 meter with a service speed 14.6 knots. Delivery of the 1st ship will be in March 2003 and the 2nd vessel in June 2003.
