Christening for Hull No. 9915, 24,000 DWT Deep Water Piping Laying Vessel ordered by Coflexip Stena Offshore Deep Water Company ('COFLEXIP')was held on 25th of February, 2001 in No. 1 Quay attended by Mr. Pierre Marie Valentin, Chairman of 'COFLEXIP' and his wife as well as Mr. J.I. Lee, Chairman of Hyundai Mipo Dockyard ('HMD')

Mrs. Valentin christened the vessel 'CSO DEEP BLUE' which will be operated in the oil field of Gulf of Mexico.

'CSO DEEP BLUE' is a dynamically positioned vessel capable of installing and retrieving flexible and rigid pipes in water depths up to 2,500 meters having an overall length of 206.5meters with a breadth of 32 meters and a depth of 17.8meter. 'COFLEXIP' is specialized and leading company for production and laying of pipes in deep sea and has thirty affiliated companies.
